Keeping large volumes of seismic and well data maintained and under control is critical to a company's ability to access the right data at the right time of the right quality. Timely loading to various applications and keeping data synchronised and integrated across various datastores ensures geoscientists are able to use the data efficiently.

Without regular housekeeping and archiving, data volumes will grow significantly increasing the time for geoscientists and engineers to find data and increasing the data management support required to maintain it.
