Responsibilities & Key Skills

  • Responsible for the loading and Quality Control of Well or Seismic data in Geoframe and Petrel software suits. (Training will be provided)
  • Assist with the management of data and projects within the above applications.
  • Provision of application support, troubleshooting and user assistance.
  • Achieve internal knowledge sharing through the sharing of skills acquired/used and lessons learnt.

Professional Skills

  • Thorough understanding of Geoscience data types.
  • Understanding and knowledge of geotechnical data standards and data flows.
  • A degree in geology or related earth sciences preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in loading seismic and/or well data to E & P applications.
  • Experienced in using Geoframe and/or Openworks.
  • Competent to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Personal Skills

  • 7+ years' experience of application support with exposure to data loading
  • Competent to work independently and as part of a medium sized team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer focused
