We are seeking a Subsurface Data Manager with good OpenWorks, Petrel & Unix knowledge for an on-site position with a London based client.

We are seeking a Subsurface Data Manager with good OpenWorks, Petrel & Unix knowledge.

Principal activities will be:

• Data Loading and Export (seismic, well data and surveys using Petrel and OpenWorks)
• Collaboration with DM team on large projects
• Data compilation (for audit)
• Unix admin and disk space monitoring

Main activities include:

• Work with global data storage contractor to organise files, reports, wells locations etc.
• Act as focal point for data coming in from Fugro and going out to geologists, data from NAM, etc.
• Substitute new well data from Fugro into Petrel Master project and database.
• Sync data between Petrel Master projects and geologists individual working projects.
• Add data to Petrel master projects from various sources, core shifts, checkshots, engineering data etc.
• Maintain an inventory of all the data stored for the asset.
