Responsibilities and Duties
- Technical applications and database support to a global well engineering community
- User Support and Training to maximise benefit from investment in technical applications and databases
- Identification of potential improvements and structured recommendations for changes
- Participation in change projects to improve use of existing systems and implement additions/replacements when appropriate
- Design, improvement and support of workflows, data management processes and standards
- Keeping up to date with developments in field of expertise
Person/Experience Required
- Takes genuine pride in work

- Strong team player
- Clear communicator
- Prepared to work flexibly on occasions where a team in another time zone is involved
- Prepared to travel to operational sites occasionally, when necessary
Key Skills Required
- Experience of well engineering systems including Peloton (esp Wellview), Landmark's suite, iWIT
- Experienced of formal incident recording, escalation, coordination with other parties, reporting, etc in a measured service environment
- Able to take ownership of problems that might involve cooperation with other service providers
- Good understanding of IT service components (networks, applications, databases, infrastructure)
