Controlling costs and improving productivity

Energy Sector

By 2030, it is estimated that global energy demand will be more than 50% higher than it is today according to the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI). To meet this demand, the International Energy Agency (IEA) believes that $20 trillion USD of investment will be needed; the investment decisions taken over the next two decades will therefore be critical in determining the world’s climate and the security of its energy supplies. These are the key challenges facing the Energy sector.

Against this strategic backdrop, the fiercely-competitive nature of energy sourcing and production has increased the pressure to continue development of revenue streams whist controlling costs, improving productivity and meeting ever more stringent regulatory requirements. This is where Venture Information Management can help.

Our sector experience, coupled with our technology and best-practice expertise, makes Venture uniquely qualified to understand your information management challenges and to help you meet them within the context of your long-term strategic goals. We have been providing tailored information management solutions to the energy industry for over 18 years with a special focus on Oil & Gas, Utilities and emerging renewable sectors. During this time, we have built and impressive list of successful client projects including BP, Petro-Canada, Nexen, Total and European Utilities.
