PESGB Data Management Workshop and Knowledge Exchange 2010

Venture consultants will be presenting three papers at the PESGB Data Management Workshop and Knowledge Exchange to be held at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th September 2010.

The papers to be presented by Venture are:

• Preparing to exploit real-time drilling-generated data in a frontier exploration organisation
• EDM Implementation in Oil and Gas Companies - What you need to know to get it right
• Introduction to the SPE Benchmarking Project for E&P Data Management

The event is a unique two-day international forum and knowledge exchange organised by the PESGB and the Geological Society, featuring a range of interactive workshops, knowledge cafes, and practical demonstrations reviewing case histories, ‘lessons learnt' and examples of ‘best-practice' in the energy sector.

Sessions will feature: Recent trends and developments in Data Management, Data integration using GIS, National Repositories, Standards, Process Improvement, Electronic Document Management (EDM and ECM) and Knowledge Management.
