CDA, UK Production Data Collaboration Study

Venture have recently been awarded a contract by CDA (Common Data Access Ltd) to conduct a study into the possibilities of a collaborative approach to managing Production Data across the Oil and Gas UK community.

The study will take a broad look at key aspects, including:

  • The various types of production data and how they are used 
  • Key stakeholders and their different perspectives, including the relative importance of the data types.
  • Potential areas for improvement and the associated benefits anticipated
  • Options (and their business cases) for collaboration.

The Venture team have prepared the ground for invitations to participate, to be issued to operators and other industry bodies, and nominations are now being received.
