Our Data Science Consultant, Justin Boylan-Toomey really enjoyed the OGA Subsurface Data Science Hackathon. He worked with a fantastic team and won a section of Dauntless Area Triassic well core for their project Mystic Bit, a machine learning proof of concept for predicting rock properties ahead of the drill bit in real time.
