PETEX 2018: Data (Science) in the Spotlight

This was Gareth’s first PETEX, the foremost UK Oil & Gas conference organised by the PESGB, for four years. The last time Gareth attended, they were all standing on the proverbial beach watching the sea disappear in to the distance and waiting for the inevitable tsunami. 35% less people, 77% less drilling and 60% less investment later, he went back to see what remains of Oil & Gas. Here are his key takeaways from what was an excellent event, with a focus on all things data and data science.
